Redovni skupovi
Redovni skupovi društva održavaju se svake druge godine u formi simpozijuma, sa uvodnim predavanjima i poster sekcijama. Skupovi se obično organizuju u manjim, turistički interesantnim, mestima Srbije, van svakodnevne huke i buke gradskih sredina.
Skupovima tradicionalno  kao gosti prisustvuju i predavači iz inostranstva. Tokom simpozijuma  održava se godišnja skupština društva, koja razmatra rad društva i Upravnog Odbora, predlaže i bira novi upravni odbor, predsednika i komisije, a takođe razmatra i usvaja izveštaj o radu i finansijski izveštaj za dvogodišnji period.

Regular meetings
DFBS meetings are held biannually in form of symposia consisting of oral presentations and poster sections. Meetings are usually held in small picturesque cities of Serbia, far from the noisy and overcrowded major urban settlements.
Participation of invited guest speakers form abroad is already a tradition. During the symposium DFBS organizes the General meeting/ assembly, electing the new President, Management Board and other representatives for the following two year mandate.

Simpozijum Vršac 2009
U maju 2009 u Vršcu održali smo 18ti simpozijum Društva. Bili smo smešteni u hotelu gde smo držali i plenarna predavanja i poster sekciju. Za tri dana koliko je simpozijum trajao bilo je 28 usmenih saopstenja i preko 100 postera. Imali smo i drage goste iz susednih i drugih zemalja. Svečana večera održana je u izvrsnom restoranu "Pivnica" u podrumu Vršačke pivare. Muziku smo doveli i bila je takodje izvrsna što je doprinelo vrhunskom ugodjaju. U povratku do Beograda obišli smo zajedno Deliblatsku pešćaru i Muzej naivne umetnosti u Kovačici.

Symposium Vršac 2009 V
In May 2009 we held in Vršac the 18th DFBS symposium. We were accommodated in Hotel "Srbija" where we also had plenary lectures and the poster sessions. During the three days there were 28 oral lectures and more than 100 posters presented. We also had dear guest from neighboring and other countries. Special dinner was held in the excellent restaurant Pivnica located in the basement of the Vršac brewery (cheers!, wow). We brought are own live music from Belgrade contributing to an outstanding event. On the way back to Belgrade we visited Deliblatska pešćara (national park) and the Museum of naive arts in Kovačica.
