Excursion: Special Nature Reserve „Carska bara”

General Notes:

  • Oral presentations scheduled for the respective day should be submitted to the Organizers at least 30 min before the beginning of the Sections.
  • Posters for the Sections scheduled for the respective day should be delivered at the Registration Desk by 2 p.m., and will be displayed by the end of Poster Sessions.
  • The Organizers will kindly welcome you at the Gala dinner. The event will take place on June 11th, from 9 p.m. till 1 a.m. in a pleasant atmosphere of the restaurant “Vizantija” (https://goo.gl/maps/YYUjQ5gsKc32) backed up with sounds of rivers Dunav and Sava and a small folk orchestra. Meals will be served in the buffet form.
  • The one-day excursion, which will take place during June 12th, will include a tour around Special Nature Reserve “Carska Bara” (http://www.carskabara.rs/) and a visit to castle “Kaštel Ečka” (http://kastelecka.com/en/). You may wish to put on comfortable shoes, since we will spend a day in natural environment. Bottled water and snacks will be provided. The Organizers will meet you at 9:30 a.m. in the courtyard of the Institute for Biological Research “Siniša Stanković” (https://goo.gl/maps/pf1fRK78JVn). The departure is at 10 a.m. from nearby parking lot. We will travel for about 60 km by a luxury bus. The touring along SNR “Carska Bara” will include a boat ride. The return to Belgrade is planned for 5 p.m.
    • In case of bad weather, a raincoat and an umbrella are strongly advised. In such case, the Organizers keep rights to change the trip schedule.
